The sculpture was formed from contemporary fabrication technologies and material as a methodology to (re)articulate differences and identities in line with the Diaspora. Using metal work was a start to practice on a materiality linked to the industrial histories of East London.

Presenting this sculpture was important for my first solo exhibition. Paper is fundamental to developing our architecture into form as students, and As a Tutor I’ve low-key found that it is in these models that the ideas and theories of students work is not hindered by the aesthetic. So here’s a concept model, with all its loose masking tape.
