The title of the film is in reference to the diasporic people and community who have carried one place into another; carried one place, across the seas, over the moon and transported through celebration and pathologision another home. The Film is on tour with @tour_de_moon  where we will be sharing with Live performances and short films imagining new ways of thinking, dreaming and doing. Radical imagination to create alternative futures.

If the Moon was here
we would dance on it as if it were our own home.
We would do what we do here on earth
We would translate different conversations
We would foresee future activities
We would build a tomorrow

Britain
A nation of shopkeepers,
of traders,
of market stall owners

Cool lights of Black hairdressers
light the midnights like the nation's checkpoint.
Car horns like Christian church preachers,
Walking stories pass by with othered languages,
Placing this culture can not be held or stored
Nor can it be written or transcribed
For this culture travels.
Carried from here to there,
From one generation to its children
By those who talk
and those who move.

Dance until the roof lights are now in the sky.
Dance until your own light has turned on others.
Dance with your birthright energy
Dance with newfound directions
Dance over the moon, across the seas.
Dance child of here and there
Dance in these spaces as if they are your own home.
